If humidity is controlled on the job site year round, this natural phenomenon is less likely to occur. The product is not guaranteed to perform as intended should there be any water or other liquid leak under or on top of the floor in any quantity greater than an 8 oz glass of water and/or standing on top or swelling below the floor for more than 8 hours. So, typical spills and splash one would expect from a spilled drink, dog dish, or kitchen spill would not negatively impact the cork provided they are wiped up in a timely fashion; however a major spill, dishwasher hose leak, or large quantity of water spilled on the floor would most likely damage the installation and the product and require replacement of some or all of the product. This situation is not covered under any warranty either expressed or implied.
